At GridPod, our electrical systems are built to order and configured specifically for each customer’s requirements. Because of this, we do not generally accept returns or offer refunds where a customer simply changes their mind after an order has been placed.
1. Made-to-order systems
All GridPod systems are manufactured or configured specifically for the customer once an order is confirmed.
For this reason, orders cannot normally be cancelled or returned due to a change of mind once production or assembly has commenced.
This includes, but is not limited to:
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will confirm whether cancellation is possible based on the stage of production. If work has already commenced, we may be unable to cancel the order or may deduct reasonable costs already incurred.
2. Faulty or defective products
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
If your GridPod system is faulty, defective, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for its intended purpose, or does not match its description, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may ask for photographs, videos, diagnostic information or other reasonable information to help us assess the issue.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement or refund.
3. Incorrect or damaged orders
If your GridPod arrives damaged, or you receive a system or component that does not match your confirmed order, please contact us promptly.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement, repair or other suitable remedy.
Please inspect your delivery as soon as reasonably possible after receiving it and notify us of any visible damage.
4. Installation and compatibility
GridPod systems are designed for use in appropriate campervan and vehicle electrical installations.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, GridPod is not responsible for problems caused by:
Incorrect installation or wiring
Installation by an unqualified or unsuitable installer
Modifications made to the GridPod system
Incorrect configuration or use
Damage caused by the vehicle or other connected equipment
Failure to follow supplied installation or operating instructions
Accidental damage, misuse or neglect
Normal wear and tear
Where installation is carried out by a third party, any installation-related issues should initially be assessed by the installer.
5. Custom modifications
Where a system has been specifically modified, configured or manufactured to a customer’s requirements, it may not be possible to accept a return due to a change of mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights where the product is faulty, defective or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
6. Refunds
Where a refund is agreed or required under applicable law, refunds will normally be made using the original payment method.
Where a refund is due because of a confirmed fault or other issue for which GridPod is responsible, we will discuss the appropriate arrangements with you.
7. How to contact us
To request a return, report a fault or discuss an issue with your GridPod system, please contact us using the contact details provided on our website.
Please include your order number and a description of the issue where possible.
GridPod reserves the right to assess each case individually, subject always to applicable UK consumer protection law and your statutory rights.
